The Pells Pool Community Association (PPCA) is looking for two new trustees to join the board. We’re looking for someone with a financial background to be Treasurer and someone with experience in human resources to help support the brilliant pool team.
The PPCA trustees are volunteers who manage the Pells on behalf of the community; the charity raises funds to renovate and improve pool equipment and facilities. We’re passionate about the Pells; we know we’re very lucky to have this incredible community asset and we want it to be there for the people of Lewes and the surrounding areas for many years to come.
The Treasurer
You’ll work with the other trustees to set our annual budget, to prepare the annual financial statements and attend the monthly board meetings to give financial updates.
HR expert
You’ll work with the other trustees to support the Pool management team on HR matters, including recruiting, training and people management, and you’ll help make sure all our policies and procedures are up to date.
And of course, both trustees will have loads of opportunities to get involved with all the other aspects of running one of the UK’s oldest public open air freshwater swimming pools.
